Blondi Goliath Birdeater (Theraphosa blondi) – 1” to 2” Juvenile (New World Species)
This captive-bred Blondi Goliath Birdeater is a young specimen of one of the largest tarantula species in the world! As a New World species, Theraphosa blondi is known for its massive size, dense reddish-brown hairs, and impressive burrowing behavior.
At 1” to 2” in leg span, this juvenile is healthy, active, and feeding well on appropriately sized prey. As a terrestrial burrower, it thrives in an enclosure with deep, slightly moist substrate, good ventilation, and plenty of hiding spots. While they can be defensive and have some of the most irritating urticating hairs of any tarantula, their sheer size and presence make them a prized species for serious collectors.
An excellent choice for keepers looking to raise one of the biggest tarantulas in the world!
