This captive-bred Guatemalan Tiger Rump Tarantula is a New World species known for its bold black body and striking orange striping on the abdomen. A fantastic choice for both beginner and experienced keepers, this tarantula is hardy, fast-growing, and makes an excellent display species.

At .5” to .75” in leg span, this spiderling is well-established and thriving. As a terrestrial burrower, it does best in an enclosure with deep substrate, cork bark hides, and moderate humidity. While generally docile, they can be quick and may flick hairs when disturbed.

This individual is healthy, active, and feeding well on appropriately sized prey. A great addition to any tarantula collection!
